oh man i know you wanted those so you gotta be happy now :props: its all good you can drop messages in here as much as you want im not trippin....at least i'll always see your questions and get back to you with a answer.

those headers i got from summit for the cutty.....if i remember right they were about $180 shipped to the door. This weekend im bout to order some headers for the cutty nice long tube ceramic coated joints. they really gonna make the engine pop when i lift up that hood....FTMFW. even though this build is bout the SS im gonna have to post them bitches in here 1 time when i get them they look clean as hell plus that stuff you sent me in the mail gonna really set my shit off.

Well ECR i had a pretty good saturday with the car and my friends. The SS feels like a real car now. Shes not running yet but oh so close now. A huge positive is the starter is running in full effect so i have power now :allgood: headlights, blinkers etc.
Right now the frame and A ar looks bad but thats why its going to look so much better in the end with the before and after shots....PLUS a lot of cleaning

after that i even got the engine to crank with the help of my boy Nick.
its was my 1st time hearing the engine this baby has been silent since the day i got it. As now, i know what else needs to be done to complete this engine stuff. Small fuel leak went down right at the fuel pump, as if the male end of the AN fitting couldn't fully screw into the fuel pump because the threaded part was to long. the fuel drained from the exposed thread of the fitting.

passenger header on now.

I should change the name from "budget build" to "custom budget build" since this didnt go the stock route. mainly this is all aftermarket stuff but all low budget spending for sure. specs wise the ss is a nice build, funds wise its awesome.

My paint job should turn out pretty good now i can really visualize the detail add on's i plan to make to bring it some life so its not just a simple 2tone paint job. oh i cant wait to get on that....looks like i'll be learning some basic body work with this 1 but the good part is im learning new skills so later on down the line i can really work on a true muscle car late 60's/early 70's ride.

This SS must be the lucky ride because the timing couldn't be any better whenever i seem to search for parts. My local flea market/swap meet have these audio dealers all around and i bought a brand new amp kit for $20 from a guy who just bought it 20 mins before me for $40. he locked his keys in his car so after buying the kit he didnt have enough cash for the lock smith so he sold what he just bought to pay the man to get his keys out of his car. man what a bad day for that guy but it was a sweet come up for myself.

These are my old subs and box from my cutlass. the cutlass has fiberglass now :props: Anyway i went with 3 10's because of the shelf in the rear of the trunk in gbody cars can fit a sub box with 10's but not 12's so thats the reason for my setup. they look a tad bit dusty in this pic but thats no biggie.

i think i'll try to get the setup hooked up this weekend if i can.
