has anybody ever heard of notching the holes on the rims to make them fit another bolt pattern? i know about redrilling, filling, plugging, and running adapters. I heard someone talk about putting some rims on that didn't fit the bolt pattern by notching( i guess making a couple of the bolt holes a little larger or stretching the hole to the side a little) to make them fit on the car? i KNow my home boy got it done of his box chevy to fit a big pattern i think but he let someone else do and have no idea what he did but he didn't redrill nor run adapters.
changing bolt pattern?

Holes would have to all be pretty much perfect or the wheel will not mount right in exact center

Thats called conical (i think) drilling they drill a hole bigger and then put a insert in. I know places that do redrilles usually do that also.
