dude broke his key.locksmith installed new ign switch and didnt plug the lil orange wire with the 2 lil white wires up.dude shit all fucked up under column so i hooked up a push button but car dies after 6 secs.is there anyway to bypass this?

You got to get the vats (security system) deactivated. A dealer can do it for you.

cool.ill try that.is it a mobil machine or i have to tow it in to chevy?cause we can find the wire to plug it to anymore

You can probably just take out the ecu and bring it to a dealership

if u got the old key just tape it to the orange wires it'll start one wire on each side

dealer up here wont do it.they say its part of the car or some shit. screwdriver what u mean?

Either do what screwdriver said or get a multimeter and measure the resistance of the resistor in the key. Then buy that value at radioshack and solder it in to fool the vats system. I think I got a pdf that explains it, i'll look.
