I need some help on what I need to put 24's on my 91 caprice. I was told to just lift it and shave the skirt and that I will need to take a rubber mallat and hit the inside wheel well in the rear so that the tires wont rub. also was told that the front is no problem. so basically lift the damn car up in the air.
what lift kit and where can I get it? link...?
I need to know what to do exactly before I buy rims and lift kit.

There is no lift kit. some guys use Tahoe springs, air shocks, those spacers that go between the coils. I use the S-10 raised spindle or 88 raised full size chevy truck spindles. Then I fab the rest.

I HAVE A 91 CAPRICE AND I WAS WONERING HOW TO GET A 3'' LIFT WITH OUT HAVING TO BUY A LIFT KIT. NO, you definitely don't need a lift kit for some little 22s.
Did you notice that this thread is from 2005? Back then people were just lifting cars for no reason. Lifts are not what's hot unless you got 28s or 30s.
