Have any of yall ever took your old faded factory seat belt webbing out of the retractor & put in a different color? I found the color I want to put in mines but cant figure out how to do it. Anybody that did it before help me out.

you cant dye seat belts, deterioates the fibers and can make them snap. ive never done the retractor end but its probably the same process, the ends have to be folded and sewed.

X2 on the folding and sewing in new belts, I have done this on 2 different cars (my own rides) never had a problem. You can also go to a pull a part and find the color you need, and unbolt them, and litteraly just trade them out, the bolt head is unusual, and I have had to slide like a 2 ft jack handle over the socket wrench for leverage to break the bolts cause they put them bitches in good! As the should!
