I started wiring up my system in my Tahoe last night after I got off. I plan on having it wrapped up by the weekend. Here are a few pics of what's been done so far. I'll be adding pics as I progress.
Went with the same headunit that I had in my other Tahoe

2 runs of 0 gauge wire

Got the battery rack dry fitted. Have to add some bracing and paint it. 4 group 31 batteries.

This truck has the factory bose amp under the center console. Can I unplug the side with the speaker input and tap into those wires and just run them to my amp or will I have to tie into my wires behind the head unit to amplify my door speakers.

Ok, so I just need to run the wires behind the headunit and tie into the wires on my wiring harness like I would on a normal install?

Got the headunit and the Pre-amp installed. Everything is done up front and all the wires have been run, just have to tie everything in in the cargo area now.
