Starting on my first donk build up (from the ground up) and wanted to know if anyone had any opinions on how i should go about it.....it would be appreciated....

Whats the plans? paint/rims/motor etc?

Right now i have the original 400 small block that im pullin out of in and rebuilding......and for the rims i will probably lift tha bitch with a 7'' or 5'' lift with 28'' DUB Flotzz......and paint i dont know yet i was thinking like a NOS Can Purple....and later the audio and other shit......

#1 dont do the lift

#2 look through the donk fest. Not many 4 doors fixed up but there are a few, when done right they actually come out pretty good

#2 look through the donk fest. Not many 4 doors fixed up but there are a few, when done right they actually come out pretty good

i know i was wanting to do some shit nobody has done and change the game up a bit.....and if i dont lift it then whats the biggest rims i could fit??

You can do 6s with not much work at all I believe. 8s shouldnt be much of a problem, maybe a couple knuckles + new springs... Youll just have to see yourself cause Ive never fucked with one

I do know if you wanna squat the rear use stock impala SS springs

That's a solid as old school.Out here in Oakland,Ca.we ride 4 doors more than the 2s.Man,if you can get the original material/pattern(it's out there)and paint,make it look all OG.Just add 6s and slap.Check out the platinum green on ebay it is so clean.That is you.Coming around the corner like you just got it from the original owner and add some rims and music.Everbody is fiberglassing their cars,20-30 + speakers,lift too high,looking like a monster truck,over doing it.But if you take your time.It will come out super clean.Make it look all factory.Speakers under the package tray with the factory speaker grills,under the dash pad and maybe a custom console.Don't cut your door panels for speakers,the Caprice come with the wood trim and it will not look right with speakers on them.Good luck.
